Okay so I had to post this one for "W" for the A-Z Challenge. I can't tell you how much I adore "Wednesday" Addams; the young, sadistic female offspring of Gomez and Morticia Addams. Aside from being extremely intimidating and incredibly ballsy, her uniqueness comes from her anti-social behavior and morose tendencies. I can't get enough of her. You? What I love most about her is she is all about her family--despite how creepy they are.
What's the one thing you love about Wednesday? Do you have a favorite episode? Find Season 1 Addam's Family here via you tube. Is there another character other than "Thing" that you love from the series? Did you love the movies? What about Christina Ricci?
I have a character (Timid Tabitha) that's a bit odd like Wednesday from my Children's books. The quirkiness is the draw for me. You?
We have three more letters left in the A-Z Challenge? How am I doing? (Now she asks, huh?)

I love the Addams Family movies. How can you go wrong with these it shows how families stick together yjrough to good and bad times.
I think that Ricci was the perfect Wednesday Addams. This post brings back childhood memories..:)
I agree with Geeky Daddy, Christina Ricci was perfect to play Wednesday!
Agree with the above comments, Christina Ricci was perfect. I haven't seen an episode of the Addams Family is so long, this really brought back some childhood memories! I also liked Cousin Itt. (:
oh she was the best---such a sullen little thing--that was one of the funniest tv shows ever!
I love Wednesday Adams. I used to want people to call me Wednesday just to be more like her. Guess that was a bit weird itself but hey, she was a pretty cool kid/
Ya know, I can't point to a favourite episode but I'm morbid by nature, so of course, I'm into the Addams family. Love the old black and white episodes.
The odder the name, the better it sticks with me.
I like quirkiness in a character or a person. It usually defines a thinking mind, one who doesn't accept the status quo without investigating it first.
You've done fine, Mina. Your titles lure me to your blog when I see them in my Google Reader.
If you have time, drop by my blog and read about the real Oscar Wilde. (W = Wilde Thing)
I loooooved these movies... and Wednesday was totally my favorite character. Crazy how long ago that was! Seems like yesterday.
She was an effective Wednesday.
I loved that show. The movie was great too. Great idea for W.
Oh you are doing really well, Mina :)
I think Christina played her part very well in the series.
Quirks really draw me to characters, make them unique.
I used to watch that series faithfully as a child...I think I was mesmerized with all the odd characters within! I'm stopping by to say hello from the Challenge...

What a great choice! Can't tell you how many times I watched that show. Was lucky enough to check out the house they built for the movie. They did it on the hill of a golf course. :)
Omg.. I love Wednesday! I thought for certain when I had a daughter she would be just like Wednesday! Nope. Exact opposite. Blond, blue eyed, curly princess hair, stunning and much more than I could have ever hoped more and certainly more than I deserve. But the sense of humor? Def. Wednesday.. ; )
You are doing FABULOUS!!!!
I remember watching the Addam's Family movie a long time ago. One of the things I liked about Wednesday was that she seemed comfortable being herself. (And I'm drawing from a really vague memory here.)
I know, I can't believe we're almost done with A-Z! ...and you're doing great!
Awww christina was a cute kid.
I think Christina Ricci is underrated. I loved the Adams Family: Creepy fun :)
"I'm a homicidal maniac, they look just like everyone else." Classic Wednesday!
I love this character and Christina Ricci was perfect for the role.
I never watched much of The Addams family (we didn't have the right TV channels when I was young!) but, of what I did see, I really liked Wednesday! Agree with Medeia that Christina Ricci was perfect for the role.
Ricci was well cast. I loved those movies as a kid.

I watched the old re-runs with Wednesday Friday Addams, I thought Lisa Loring was amazing but failed to following in her shadow. I just couldn't decapitate my dolls.
