Hoppy Easter Eggstravaganza Book Hop

Hello, my friends! I hope everyone is doing okay. I'm sending prayers to you and your loved ones that you stay safe and healthy. Please comment below and let me know how you're doing.

For me, I've had some issues with my dog pre-COVID-19. He had a scuffle with a raccoon and had to have surgery. It was nasty and touch-n-go there for a while. While recovering from the surgery, we noticed his wound wasn't healing and, in fact, was severely infected.  Did you know sometimes that happens? It can come from the surgery or the animal, but it can be deadly. Anyway, it's been challenging. While dealing with this pandemic, I've been nursing my best bud, Spike. He's slowly getting better, though.

Today, I'm participating in an Easter Hop, even though Easter is over.  I know it seems a bit strange, but since everything is a bit weird these days, just go with it. Please join me and participate in this year's easter book hop, hosted by Mary from BookHounds

That must be hard taking care of your dog right now. Glad he's getting better. It's just me and my dog at my house. Thankfully, she's doing good and is a great companion during these hard times.

Aww, poor pup. I sympathize. I had surgery a while back and had a heck of a time healing the incision. Get well soon, buddy.

I hope that Spike is on the mend! Please give him a big hug for me.
Mid-February into March was almost unbearable for me: several big stressors, unrelated to Covid-19, hit almost all at once. Things sort of evened out, but now we're dealing with a mysterious health scare with my cat. This is just devastating to me, but I'm trying my best to just take it one step at a time.

Hope your dog is well, My little Chihuahua was attacked by a lab sized dog who went for the jugular. He had tubes in his throat and I had difficulty getting him to eat for a couple of weeks. During that time he spent most of his time hiding under the bed or in the closet and once or twice even crawled up into the frame of my couch! Very traumatic for both of us. I feel your pain.

I hope Spike recovers soon <3 That certainly is scary and I can definitely relate from some of the thing my family's fur babies have dealt with. Thank you SO much for this amazingly wonderful opportunity!!
