Banned books in general is a topic that’s close to all our hearts. For the most up-to-date information on banned books, please take the time and visit American Library Association (ALA) or another favorite, Jennifer and her inspiring blog: I read banned books. Banned books are ones we take for granted. I do my part in supporting all types of literature including newly released, classics, indie published and especially banned books. As a writer and a lover of literature, I believe wholeheartedly in reading just about anything you can get your hands on. I certainly don't want to limit my reading list based on someone else's censorship and I'm willing to bet you don't either. Get the facts first about a book - try reading it even - before you pass judgement on it.

On another note, thanks to Kathy from I’m a Reader Not a Writer for coordinating this hop. And a HUGE thanks to everyone who participated. THANK YOU! I also want to thank my Free Sh** fairy for hooking me up with another delicious giveaway. Everyone together now, "Thanks free sh** fairy!"
This month’s giveaway is the one of my favs: The Spooktacular Giveaway Hop and it starts October 24th and runs through October 31st. Stop by for the fun. Wahoo!!! I love Halloween.
Last but not least, I have a few interesting reviews scheduled this month – ones you won’t want to miss. Creepy Classic, Treasure Island is on the docket plus a whole lot more.
Thanks again,
Mina B.
