Fridays with Fred: Going Gray

I didn’t realize Fred was going gray or white on his face until about a year or two ago.  He’s still handsome to me, but I can’t help but reflect on these old pictures and get sad.  Take a look below and see what I mean.  In fact, if you look at some of my earlier FwF posts, you'll see even more gray/white.  Time sure does fly and Fred’s kind of looking like an old man.  And sometimes he’s grumpy like one too…but we’ll get to that subject another time.  To me, he’s still good looking, but now more in a distinguished sort of way.  It’s definitely an evolution of some kind.  Anyway, I thought I’d share this with you because he’s definitely changed.
Enjoy your weekend.

Be sure and check out Schatze over at Mary's from BookHounds.

Until next time...I wonder if his spots will go next?

We agree that Fred is very distinguished.
It is funny how the grey/white just sneaks in there. Like a wave coming up on the sand, and all of a sudden its there.
Have a great weekend!
(We got to enjoy almost 70* yesterday! Super to be out, cooler today. It is mid February afterall.)

I think it will only be the face to go white, my Toy Fox Terrier never lost his spots and my 12 year old Chihuahua is only going gray on his face and shoulder area so maybe the distinguished look for Fred will do the same....

@Lisa - That is very true. Urgh is right and then some!

@Carla - Yes it did sneak up but you can see from then and now how drastic of a change it is. (*sniffle*)
Enjoy your weekend too! :0)

@Jackie - I hope he doesn't lose his spots. You never know though. I never would have guessed the coloring in his face would change that much.
:0) BTW...your Chihuahua is delish. Too cute!
