NaNo is a tough one for me. My biggest challenge with monthly writing blitz is I have an incredibly hard time managing everything I've got going on. In the past, I'd start out strong and then get sidetracked. And that's putting things lightly. This month I'm hoping that things will be different. I'm not traveling or camping or dealing with flood issues so I think I've got that going for me. Other than that, being able to carve out some quality time to write is my challenge. Wish me luck. Last Week on Twitter - Library Uproar!
Last week, some twitter-fool, Andre Walker, sparked a massive backlash when he tweeted "Nobody goes to libraries anymore. Close the public ones and put the books in schools." *Smacks hand in face.* There are no words. Anyway, you'll have to forgive me for re-posting this because it has more than a few "F" bombs from the Angry Librarian. If you can look past that, it's very funny. And...terribly scary how narrow-minded some folks are. Yikes!

Best of luck with NaNo! I'm not participating, but I can still relate to how overwhelming this time of year can be. Hope you're able to accomplish a lot of writing this month!

Thanks for sharing that graphic - I'm sure I use many boring words in my writing.
Anyone who thinks libraries should be closed is an idiot. They are such a valuable resource. We need more libraries, not fewer.
