IWSG: A-Z Topics

I can't believe it's March and it's already the first week into the month. *Sigh* Insecure Writers Support Group created by Alex J. Cavanaugh is back and this month's wicked co-hosts are Tina Downey, Elsie, Elizabeth Seckman, and Julie Flanders!

Today, all I'd like to mention the upcoming A-Z blogging event which starts in April.  Are you ready?  Have you thought of a theme?  I've though of several but I'm still not sure.  Last month, I posted only once so the thought of committing to posting every day has me a little worried.  Last year, I did Chaucer.  *smacks head*  And no, I'm not doing Shakespeare this time.

Still, I have several ideas.  I decided to list them below and see what you all think.

*  Classic Monsters:   Hmmm, I'm not sure about 22 classic monsters.  I might be able to do it but...
*  Unforgettable lines in classic literature:  This would be fun but probably biased.
*  Author Spotlight:  I thought about doing a sign up for those who want me to feature their paranormal/sci-fi books.  I kinda do that already but a month of it would be cool.
*  Feature my book, Blessed Blood.  Yes, the bane of my existence is still ALIVE!  I'm very close again with this darn thing, I can almost taste it.  I could possibly feature snippets of my novel?  Hmmm.....

I'm not sure so I've decided to put it to a vote.  And every one counts!  Here's what we'll do.  You post your thoughts in a comment and at in a couple of weeks, I'll take a tally.  "What say you?"

Anyway, that's my insecurity this month.  What type of insecurities are you faced with this month?

Any one of those would be good! I'd probably be partial to classic monsters. Can I suggest Godzilla for G?

I'm struggling, too, on my theme. I have my words (going with Spanish words that have English translations that start with the same letter - to honor our move to Ecuador) and I know I'm doing flash fiction.

But in 2012 I did them in 10x10 (min of 100 words, max of 10 sentences). Don't know if I'll do that again or just let the stories flow. Sigh...

I like unforgettable classic lines in lit. I thought I had A-Z themes, but one of them flew clean out of my mind.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I think I am going to try this. I wonder if the author one would be a good one for you to do?

I think I might do my A to Z on book related things since my blog is a book blog. So A for Authors, and now I have to figure out the rest!

I would go with the monsters, though they all sound great. The quotes seems like it would take some research and it might be a bit late to get people to sign up for their books before April. Still, DO promote your book every post.

Thanks for already visiting my blog. I was (way) late getting my IWSG post up this time (It's there now).

Unforgettable lines in classic literature. That appeals to me.
I'm going with another short and fun interactive theme, where bloggers will be invited to participate.
HAPPY WORLD READ ALOUD DAY!

All of those are great topics - I thought the monsters one was really cool as soon as I read it - so I guess I'm leaning toward that. :)

I'm still trying to decide if I'm doing it this year. :)

I'd love to read snippets of Blessed Blood. That would be cool, though I'd be interested in all of the ones you mentioned. I thought about doing beer tasting from A-Z, the month of April would be a smash.... :P

I can totally relate to your dilemma. I've done A - Z every year (I think) and I had a theme picked out but lately I've been on the fence...As for your theme, I like all the ones you listed but my top 2 choices would be snippets of your novel and classic monsters.

Good luck deciding!

I'm for classic lines. No A-Z for me...but I love reading others. Nice to meet you. Stopping over from IWSG.
