What a ridiculous list. I no more agree with banning Thirteen Reasons Why or The Kite Runner - seriously, The Kite Runner? - (both of which I've read and loved) than I do Fifty Shades of Grey (which I have no intention of reading). Whoever these "book banners" are, they do not speak for the readers who made all three best sellers.
thanks for participating!

I agree that these banned book lists are ridiculous. At one point they weren't banned and then boom! It's added into the list.
I LOVE banned book week. My goal is to read ALL the books that they try to ban. ALL OF THEM.

Thanks for the giveaway! =)

It's interesting why some books have been banned. A little silly in most cases, especially since banning the book usually means it will be read even more, lol.
I've read all of them EXCEPT Looking for Alaska. I think 50 Shades should be BANNED...for bad writing! LOL.
@capefearlibn
I'm sometimes puzzled over some of the books that are banned. Some I can see not putting into young children's hands, but to ban them completely seems extreme.
Thank you so much!
