Spam Alert: Zombies to the Rescue!

Well, since its 2013, there is one thing I'm going to address, and it's all this SPAM!  Damn these relentless Annon commenters.  I'm tired of deleting your worthless comments. I'm tried of sifting through the Google's spam filter to delete and rescue the non-spammers.  I don't give a crap about what your selling, or if you think that post was well written or said.   I've deleted the comments, links, and now I'm releasing the Walking Dead.

Go get 'em, Zombies.  Wahoooo!

I'm done with you, SPAM.  And unfortunately, thanks to you...I'm turning my CAPTCHA /word verification feature on.  Sorry, minions.  My apologies for the inconvenience, but 2013 is a year of cleansing and these Sir Spam's A Lot jerks must go.

Fridays with Fred

Since the holidays are over, Fred is beat.  Yep, it doesn't take much these days.  I snapped this shot of him hugging his bed.  You should hear the snoring too.  Jeez, why so much drama while sleeping, Fred?

Be sure and stop by and visit Schatze over at Mary’s BookHounds too.

What about you?  Are you tired of spammers?  Want to use my zombie exterminators?  Are you all excited about the weekend?  Have you taken all your holiday decorations down?

Have a great weekend.

Mina B.

I don't allow anonymous comments and require approval on all comments on posts over four days old. As a result, I get maybe four-five spam comments a year. Much better than word verification.

That's good to know. Damn. I can't even turn on my word verification.

I'd rather have zombies than word verification. I do what Alex does. One guy had a blogger account and was spewing hate against women. I turned him in. Hopefully that worked - probably not. (I can't read the numbers even if I squint.)

I have approval on comments, and don't allow anon comments. I only get the odd spam comments.

Oooh...I'm gonna go with comment approval like Alex said. I am SO tired of the stupid anonymous comments about how brilliant my post is and how now, I should visit their site. Ugh.

And Fred looks adorable. Hope he gets all caught up on his beauty sleep. :)

3 years plus in and spam has luckily never been an issue, Fred is a smart boy the cold weather is time to hibernate as much as possible.

Weekend only has me excited if we see some sunshine as it has been overcast, cold and gloomy here for almost 2 weeks and my sinuses are killing me from being cooped up indoors so much.

Mina we need to put up the Christmas wreath off front door, this year that was the only decoration I out out for the holidays.

Wow, so far I haven't had a really big spam problem. I don't allow anonymous comments, and I'll have to check out the feature Alex mentioned (requiring approval on posts over 4 days old). Because if I do get a spam comment, it's usually on an old one.

Release the zombies, Mina! Because I have already failed your word verification once. Trying again ...

I actually don't have much of a spam problem but that's only because I don't get a lot of traffic on my site, HA! The price you guys pay for being so damn AWESOME!

Fred does look a bit zonked out, actually he looks like I feel. Don't you just love the holidays? :D

Just wanted to stop by.
Darcy and Sophie said that Fred looks more handsome than ever and send hugs and licks.
Best wishes in the new year!

Wow, you must have had a lot of spam comments! Sorry about that. I know they're really annoying, but fortunately I haven't had too many.
