Ninja Captain Alex's Top 10 Movie Countdown

Ninja Captain Alex's Top 10 Movie Countdown Blogfest is here.  I had a blast  putting this list together.  My criteria for choosing these flicks were simple.  These are ones that I've watched at least a half a dozen times (some a ridiculous amount more) and probably many that I could recite lines to.  I chose a mix of classic, dramas, suspense-thrillers, fantasy and comedy.  I hope you enjoy my list.  Are any of these your favorites too?

My Top 10 - In no particular order...

Gone with the Wind
This has to be one of my favorite classic scenes of all time. The lines are wonderfully written and beautifully delivered. Scarlet: "Sir, you are no gentleman." Rhett: "And you miss, are no lady."

A Few Good Men

I love this scene. I've probably seen this move a hundred times. "Should we or should we not follow the advice of the galactically stupid!" I know there are a ton of haters out there, but I still love Tom Cruise.

No Way Out
A classic mystery-suspense film about romance, politics, murder and espionage.  If you ever get a chance, watch this.  It's a fast-paced thriller that puts you on the edge of your seat with so many twists you'll be saying oh sh** and damn until the very end.

Underworld
This movie made the war of vampires and werewolves an international phenomenon and box office smash.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2
One of my recent favorites.

Old School

Love Frank the Tank.  "You're crazy man."

Naked Gun

Caddyshack"Gunga Galunga."

Scary Movie 2
I think Rotten Tomatoes gave this movie a 2. For me, it's so bad it's good. Warning, this scene is a bit explicit.

A Christmas Vacation
This movie has been around since the late 80's and it's still funny as hell.

That's it.  Whew! That was fun.

Have a great week.

Underworld just misses my top ten. So does a Few Good Men. Anytime that's on, I end up watching the whole thing.
Thanks for participating in my blogfest!

A Few Good Men was a great movie! You can't handle the truth!" :D
But Scary Movie, oh hell no. I'm too much of a chicken to even watch the trailer, lol!

I've heard of all of your top ten, but only seen half :). Underworld is such a great movie and it seems to be getting a lot of love from people's top tens. I'm not a Naked Gun fan, but my husband is :).

Great movies! I haven't seen Underworld, but it's been on so many lists, I guess I need to go rent it, huh?

Thanks for reminding me of some awesome movies.

Great list, seen them all, can't say i was a big fan of the Scary movies, but the first one or two weren't bad, I suppose.

Not much for scary movies, I keep revisiting them in my dreams.

Scarlett just makes me mad in GWTW, imagine rebuffing Rhett!

I love Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men, and that scene you featured is such a great one.

And of course I love Harry Potter!

Judging from your list, you have a great sense of humor. I applaud you. Well done, Mina.

I've seen GWTW and Old School. I've heard of some of the rest, but haven't seen them. I just don't get into modern movies unless they're foreign or historical dramas.

A good mix of drama and comedy. (I tend to ignore the vampires but that's mostly to annoy my grandkids.)

The Deathly Hallows was a great ending to a great series. I might have cried when I watched it.

I had Harry Potter on mine too...I loved them all (except the first one, which is still good, but not great). Christmas Vacation is my staple for each holiday season! Great list. :)

Tom Cruise was so good looking in A Few Good Men. I think he's ugly now.

There are some great ones here. There are also some I've been meaning to watch.

I love the Scary Movie franchise. Some movies are so bad that they're good.
